The
new look White Heart is a modern, friendly bar and
contemporary restaurant, and the joy of local business-people
Gillian and Chris Ward. The stylish décor
has Gill's original artworks on the walls, a warm
and cosy compact eating area, mezzanine level (ideal
for small business meetings of up to 12 people) and
our recently opened function room The Talbot
Suite. |
The lighting adds to the
stylish atmosphere to give this old historical building
a certain ‘wow’ factor, a perfect combination
of chic and warmth that is both welcoming and relaxing. The
simple stylish façade, the large Patio seating area
is perfect for summer events.
The restaurant has received
many excellent reviews and chef, Paul Taylor, comes to
the White Heart with a well-established reputation and
a host of ideas. He is a young man with an already great
culinary pedigree, has created a small, but excellent menu,
using carefully selected locally-sourced, seasonal produce.
All meat is bought from local Hade Edge butcher Brindon
Addy.
Our
new function room The Talbot Suite is available
for civil weddings and partnerships and wedding
receptions with a seating capacity of 80 to 90
people. The suite is ideal for birthday parties,
Christenings, business dinners and conferences
or to hire for live events. The Talbot Suite also
creates the perfect setting for the Ladies
That Lunch afternoon tea meetings.
We host music
nights every friday and saturday evenings and special
event nights throughout the year. Previous events consisted
of wine pairing nights, Champagne nights, Tribute
bands, Burns night and many more.
